In 2021, our interns from Grambling State University and Alabama A & M University created the volunteer arm called THRIVE Together. Volunteers drive the work that is conducted in THRIVE. Its mission is that the THRIVE Together will utilize HBCU advocates, students and alumni to mentor and inspire THRIVE Scholars to attend HBCUs.

Those who will benefit from being a volunteer are people who want to give back to their communities by uplifting younger generations; those who are determined and passionate about helping students who come from challenging backgrounds to attend HBCUs; and those who have a desire to work with high school aged students and welcome the challenges that come with it. From Board members to chaperones, mentors, recruiters, advisors and more, volunteers are the heart of our organization!
